Anderssen & Voll

Anderssen&Voll is an Oslo design firm headed by Torbjørn Anderssen and Espen Voll. Established in 2009, for several years it worked on projects for some of the top European brands. Anderssen & Voll works within various fields of design but focus on the domestic objects. Design at A & V means being receptive to cultural and market influences and applying this knowledge in forward-thinking ways to generate groundbreaking and desirable products. Anderssen & Voll have received several awards for their work; including Wallpaper Design Award, Red Dot Award, IF Award and Honorary Award for best Design in Norway.

Maddalena Casadei

Born in Forli. She graduates in Architecture at the University of Ferrara with experiences in Sweden and the United States. MA in Design at Domus Academy. From 2004 until July 2012 she collaborates with James Irvine, growing an international knowledge and vision. From 2017 she runs her on business setting her studio in Milan. Her design approach is based on a continuous personal interaction with clients, technicians… She focuses on product design, exhibition design and art direction. The art direction activity has led her to develop a personal vision and sensitivity towards the communication of products, often pushing her to deal with the concept of photo shoot sets. She teaches, as guest professor, in various Universities such as Ecal.

Christoph Jenni

Christoph was born 1976 in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. After moving to Switzerland with 14 years of age he finished school in Switzerland and studied Industrial Design at FHNW. 5 years of working experience at Hannes Wettstein design studio followed, and in 2012 he opened his own Studio in Bern. He is a lecturer at HSLU in Lucerne. Christoph describes his work as a synthesis of his Brazilian heritage and Swiss education, combined with the acribic an formally calm experience he made while working for Hannes Wettstein.

In 2009 Marco Maturo and Alessio Roscini founded Studio Klass, an industrial design agency based in Milano. The studio operates in several areas, from furniture to product design and, over the years, has worked with italian and international well-known companies, presenting its products during many design fairs and events in Milan, Paris and New York. The work of Studio Klass aims to innovate function and the way of use products, with a particular attention to colours combination and materials. From 2009 Marco Maturo and Alessio Roscini are both professors at Istituto Europeo di Design of Milan.

Valerio Sommella

Born in Cortona in 1980, he grew up professionally in Milan where he studied and graduated in industrial design at the Politecnico. He considers each project as an opportunity to define his idea of design, or a delicate balance between context, public, materials, technologies, form and function. The objects he draws are not chapters of the same book, but short stories, each with its own plot, characters and ending.

Andrea Steidl

Andrea Steidl graduated from Politecnico di Milano with a degree in Industrial Design and began his career immediately at Patricia Urquiola’s studio. He went on to become a Creative Manager and remained with the firm until 2016. In 2016, he founded the / àr o / design studio with Raquel Pacchini. They work for a range of companies in the fields of art direction, graphic design, installations and product design.

Studio Nooi

Studio Nooi was founded in 2020 by Giulia Pesce and Ruggero Bastita in Torino, Italy. Giulia and Ruggero built their approach to design while studying at Politecnico di Torino and Designskolen Kolding and working as designers in Italy and Denmark. Nooi represents the amplification of the Italian word “noi”, meaning “us”. The idea of the studio being that design is never an individual act but rather a collaborative process, involving designers, companies, users, artisans and technicians. Studio Nooi’s designs are always the result of good cooperation between people and are influenced by society, art, nature and cultural heritage. The studio is closely involved at every stage of the project development, always aiming to achieve designs that are refined and rich of content.
